Job Title: Curriculum Content Developer – Skill Development

Position Overview:
We are looking for a creative and skilled Curriculum Content Developer to design and develop engaging learning materials for skill development, vocational training, and entrepreneurship programs aimed at underprivileged youth. This role requires the ability to develop learner-centric content across multiple platforms, ensuring that participants gain valuable knowledge and skills to succeed in modern work environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and curate learner-centric content for skill development programs using digital platforms, classroom settings, and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand content domains and create effective training modules, assessments, and multimedia elements.
• Research, analyse and synthesise content into clear, engaging, and practical training materials, including workbook, quizzes, presentations, and e-learning resources
• Create storyboard for Web based and classroom training materials, and work with visual design experts to develop multimedia components.
• Regularly update content to ensure relevance and effectiveness in delivering learning outcomes.
• Monitor and assess learning outcomes, suggesting improvements to enhance the effectiveness of the curriculum. Collaborate with trainers to ensure content aligns with the learning objectives and practical applications.
• Occasionally facilitate training sessions or workshops to gather feedback and support trainers.

·         Research industry trends and best practices in skill development to keep content up to date and relevant.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, or a related field.

• Proven experience in content / curriculum development / instructional design
• Excellent Communications skills including writing, editing, and storytelling.
• Ability to simplify complex topics into engaging and easy-to-understand formats.
• Knowledge of vocational training and skill development sectors is a plus.
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms, authoring tools, and multimedia content creation.
• Ability to adapt content to diverse learning styles and audiences.

·         Understanding of learning theories, including adult learning principles.
