A short-duration industry-relevant skills training and placement programme where 12 th pass girls and boys from low resource settings are prepared for the modern-day work environments.

ETASHA classes are experiential, participative and interactive and aim towards bringing about a positive mindset change towards skilling and vocational courses. ETASHA’s placement rate is around 70% and trainees are assisted with placement at appropriate jobs in established companies after due diligence of the working environment.

The programme has had a very positive influence on the girls of the , and their enrolment increased from an average of 29% during 2006- 2010), to over 60% (2015 onwards)

An opportunity for 12th passed underprivileged youth to avail short-duration industry-relevant skills training and placement in growth-oriented service sector industry.

With the shift in the work environment due to the pandemic we have pivoted the SMART Blended Job-Readiness Program which offers both online and offline delivery through a blended methodology.

The program covers soft and core skills training and provides placement in technical as well as non-technical trades.ETASHAs placement ratio has consistently been above 70% and there has been a steady increase in the ratio of girls enrolled, from an average of 35% (in the initial 5 years) to an average of 66% (in the 5 years ending in 2019-20).

Operating in Delhi and Haryana.

The program is designed for students of Government-owned-and-supported Industrial Training Institutions (ITIs) and World Class Skill Centres (WCSCs) and covers soft and core skills training, and placement for youth enrolled in technical as well as non-technical trades.

The program is redesigned for online and offline delivery through the blended process.
