A Partnership Built Around Women and Technology
In today’s digital world, access to technology and skills can shape confidence, careers, and opportunities for young women. For many from underserved communities, these opportunities are still limited.
ETASHA Society came together with BT Group and British Asian Trust for a Partners Meet, celebrating a year of collaboration and shared impact in the lives of young women.
This partnership brings together ETASHA’s experience in skilling and livelihoods, BT Group’s commitment to technology enabled empowerment, and British Asian Trust’s focus on sustainable community impact. Together, the organisations are supporting young women from underserved communities in Gurugram, Haryana with digital skills, workplace readiness, communication skills, career guidance, and exposure to professional environments.

The Partners Meet was more than a review of progress. The most meaningful moments came from hearing directly from participants who shared how the program helped them build confidence and explore new possibilities for their future.
Payal placed at Lifestyle and one of the participants of ETASHA’s Vocational Training and Placement Program supported by BT Group, shared, “Losing my father and not becoming a doctor did not stop me from becoming who I am today. I am thankful for the program, which enabled me to secure this job. Today, I am able to support my family’s expenses and work towards becoming an independent woman.”
Behind every statistic is a young woman who has started to see herself differently as capable, skilled and worthy of opportunity.
ETASHA Society is a two decade old NGO working to empower youth, women, and adolescents through skills training and pathways to income generating opportunities.
