For every Indian to be employable, have self-worth and lead a dignified and productive life

Equipping people to make the right choices at the right time, and enabling them to lead successful and healthy lives.

The Problem

It is estimated that over 75% of the new jobs to be created in India will be ‘skill-based’. However, only 20% of the Indian workforce possesses ‘marketable skills’. This problem is particularly acute for the large and growing unemployed population in low income communities.

What we do?

Each of our programmes are geared towards developing employability skills to enable communities to become employed, self sufficient and live lives with dignity.

ETASHA’s core activities are aimed at engaging various stakeholders to holistically impact communities by orienting them to value and respect skills. These activities are:

  • Vocational training and placement
  • Career Guidance
  • Life skills development
  • Employability skills training
  • Training of Employability Skills Trainers
  • Development of Women Entrepreneurs
