Job Title: Placement Coordinator

ETASHA Society is looking for a Placement Coordinator to help scale up our eminently successful placement process to cater to the growing Vocational Training and Placement vertical in Delhi.
The Placement Coordinator’s role involves building and maintaining strong industry relationships, influencing inclusive hiring practices, and preparing trainees for the world of work. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, networking, and mentoring skills to bridge the gap between training and sustainable employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruiter Identification & Coordination:
- Identify potential recruiters across sectors for the skill sets offered by the organization.
- Track job openings, schedule interviews, and coordinate all placement-related logistics to ensure 100% placement of all trainees in employment-linked programs.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with new employers.
- Maintain regular communication with existing recruiters to ensure continuous placement support and feedback.
- Industry Engagement & Advocacy:
- Engage with companies to understand entry-level employment opportunities for vocationally trained girls and boys.
- Influence employers to adopt equal opportunity hiring practices and create gender-sensitive work environments and policies.
- Trainee Preparation:
- Prepare trainees for job interviews and workplace integration through structured sessions on workplace readiness, soft skills, and communication.
- Organize guest lectures and industry interactions to expose trainees to real-world expectations and opportunities.
- Mentoring & Counselling:
- Mentor trainees to develop confidence and professional behaviour.
- Counsel trainees and their families to support job acceptance, continuation, and growth in employment.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong organizational and coordination abilities
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in placement coordination, recruitment, or skill development sector
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and networking skills
- Empathy and counselling skills to support youth and their families
- Ability to work collaboratively with training teams and external stakeholders
Remuneration will range between Rs.25,000/- to Rs.35,000/- CTC per month, depending upon skills and experience. PF, ESI and other benefits will be available as per rules.
