ETASHA at TELUS Digital India CSR Forum 2026

ETASHA Society was honoured to speak at the TELUS Digital India CSR Forum 2026, organised under the theme Leading with Purpose: Enabling Volunteers, Investing in Impact.

Our President, Dr Meenakshi Nayar, shared how volunteer engagement has shaped ETASHA’s work  and the real difference it makes for young people building careers through skill development.

In recent two years, 700+ volunteers have contributed their time and expertise to ETASHA’s work, with 47% coming from corporate organisations. Their involvement spans mentoring learners, delivering skill sessions, and strengthening ETASHA’s internal systems and team capacity.

This is not just about hours contributed. It is about what volunteers uniquely bring: industry knowledge, professional insights, and the kind of personal encouragement that builds a young person’s confidence alongside their competence.

What Employee Volunteering Adds That Grants Cannot

Financial CSR support is invaluable but when organisations also engage their employees as volunteers, the impact deepens in ways that funding alone cannot achieve. Volunteers offer learners direct exposure to the professional world and a sense of what is truly possible for them.

When corporations invest both through grants and through people, the outcomes are richer and more lasting.

ETASHA is grateful to TELUS Digital for the opportunity to share our experience at the forum. Purpose-driven collaboration between companies, volunteers, and social organisations is one of the most powerful levers for expanding opportunity in the communities we serve.

If your organisation is looking to engage employees in structured, meaningful volunteering, we would love to connect.
