ETASHA Society's Participation and Achievements

Since 2011, ETASHA Society has been an active participant in the Delhi Half Marathon. ETASHA focuses on enabling youth to become employable from resource-limited areas to acquire job-ready skills. ETASHA’s participation in the marathon has been a key component of their fundraising and awareness efforts.

Last Year's Achievements (2023)

  • Funds Raised: INR 12,41,800, which empowered 103 youth with essential employability skills and helped them secure employment.
  • Recognition: Honored with the prestigious Philanthropy Award for being the 3rd highest fundraising NGO among over 55 participating NGOs.
  • Participation: 131 enthusiastic runners, including 80 from HDB Financial Services, 44 partners from the ETASHA team, 6 runners, and 1 ETASHA alumnus.
  • Impact: Demonstrated a shift from confusion about life goals to confident decision-making, financial dependence to economic independence, and drifting jobs to stable careers, fostering a long-term vision for evolving lives.

Mr. Amit Sharma, Head of Channels at HDB Financial Services, expressed the honor of running for this social cause and fostering social consciousness through their partnership with ETASHA.

This Year’s Goals (2024) ETASHA Society aims to empower 1,200 young 12th-grade graduates by training and placing them in organized sector jobs. This initiative is designed to equip them with essential skills, unlocking employability opportunities and securing dignified livelihoods. The ripple effect enhances their families’ lives and drives sustainable economic progress.

Campaign: #FightBerozgaari campaign is a mission to counter youth unemployment through skill development and placement programs. The target is to raise ₹1.2 crores to skill 1,200 youth for sustained employment.
